Sarah : yes i stand to benefit if i quit the initiative of resisting such women who have to be resisted by some men atleast bcz most are too busy. between both of us we may benefit more if u remain focussed on my ques and not publish my profile , it distract others, the reader may any way go thru but only sensible ones will take it a reflection not beyond this website , as actual life may be too occupied to fuss around !

I have come across many such women. Unfortunately the only tactics that work and that I use is to ignore them when they are around and to avoid them as far as possible.

This is unfortunate because I do think this is not the way this should be dealt with. I have to adopt these measures only because of the gender bias of the society regarding laws and general outlook towards female high headed, chauvinistic, egoistic persons.

I think "The same way you deal with high headed, chauvinistic, egoistic men" and "Jerks are rarely reformed in this way" are all utter nonsense.

If it was a male high headed, chauvinistic, egoistic person, I am sure everybody will encourage teaching him a real good lesson.

Until the laws and the general outlook changes or until you can get away with the present laws, you might adopt ignoring and avoiding as the strategy. Otherwise, just teach them a lesson, for you, for me, for the general public, using any measure you find handy.

Notions of superiority are morbid, in men or women. And, notions of putting people "on track" are morbid, too. Let people be whatever they want to be. Don't be afraid of differences in human visions. There is no good in the imposition of one vision onto all others. That is fascism and intolerance. Just seek the company of those you admire and stay out of other people's business. Protect people's right to pursue happiness in their own way rather than struggle and waste your life with some miserable notion that you cannot be happy unless everyone lives and believes as you do.

I dealt with these kind of women in the military a lot. I think they feel a constant need to show that they can do what a man can do and be in control. Once I was placed in a management position I didn't feel the need to have to constantly remind others of my rank and status, though. For me, I think it has a lot to do with respect. If it's earned and not forced on someone, you'll get a better reception from those around you. Look at Senator Hillary Clinton-she is calm, cool and collective. She faces challenges head on without seeming to try sooo hard to get her message across. ...she's one of my heroes! And not because she's a woman, but because she doesn't keep reminding us that she is!

In my experience, those people so chauvinistic that they feel compelled to continually prove their superiority over the opposite sex will never relent nor accept the possibility that the genders could be equal. These are the people I take with a grain of salt. I simply feel sorry for their ignorance and hope that one day they may be inspired by my (hopefully) good example. I am of the firm opinion that men and women are different in their strengths and weaknesses and because of that are complimentary and equal in status. Neither is better nor worse than the other. It is the chauvinistic ones who give the rest of their gender a bad name.

men who think so ill of women must have never met anything but an ill woman.

men, there really are women who arent the way you think they are at all.

unless you think a woman should just take whatever you dish out, there really are good women out there, its up to you to find them.

anyways, women should just not be that way, they give us all a bad name. unfortunately, i know of a few too. but i know as many egotistic women as men.

Chauvinism of any sort is reprehensible. Women are not superior over men; men are not superior over women. We each may be good at different things, but neither one is bettter.

You can't put another adult "on track" who doesn't want your help. That was her parents job. You deal with obstinate women as you do with obstinate men; you recognize that changing them is not your concern and agree to disagree.

After reading the intro on your profile it seems like you could stand to lose a lot of bitterness and benefit from an attitude adjustment yourself.
