attention people who live in walnut creek, CA?

my friend lives there, and i am curius on what they do to remember the veterans on veterans day..

except for the flags that somebody else mentioned above, I don't think they do much of anything. They usually have some sort of Ceremony at Civic Park. But nothing else that I am aware of.

the only thing I really remember is all the American flags lining Civic Park downtown.
