My son is 2 years old very skinny for his age but tall! He weighed exactly 30 lbs and is 3 ft tall. The doctor was telling me she thinks he is going to be 6'1 or 6'2 she said that he was 80 to 85% taller than boys his age! I am so excited I know sounds weird but I mark everything down I love watching my son's developing skills! It excites me even if he only gains 1 pound I mark it down! He is deffanantly a momma's boy I am sure you know cuz you answer most of my questions. Thanks by the way I let him up my but now I was just cerious! He is my everything! So everytime he watches Cartoons I watch them with him! He is my joy!

My son is 27 months old and weighs 25 lbs and is 36 1/2 inches tall. He has always been really tall in the 90% tile since he has been born. The doctor says he will take after my side of the family. All the guys are over 6 ft. and he has my metabolism.

My "baby" is 23 and weighed around 197 lbs. at his last appointment! He's 5' 9", so a bit on the "chubby" side. LOL!

Seriously, don't worry about weight. Weight varies for any number of reasons, prematurity would put some babies on the low end of the rating scale, race (African-American babies are typically weigh 2-3 pounds less than the upper range of the rating scale at birth), girls typically weigh less than boys at birth, appetite, and just plain old genetics can affect weight!

My son was premature by 3 weeks. He weighed just 3.15 oz at birth, and look at him now! By four months he had doubled his weight and started solid food, but remained at the lower end of the rating scales through toddlerhood! Is your baby HEALTHY is what matters.
Congratulations on your little one if you are a new mommie!

Jackson turns 4 months old tomorrow and the last time I weighed and measured him (just doing it for fun im between appointments) was 3 weeks ago. He was 25 inches and 15 pounds. But, that was 3 weeks ago. I have a doc's appointment on Tuesday and I can't wait to see how big he's gotten!!
How big is Illyana now???

All babies are individuals and weigh different at different times! My son weighed 5lb 11oz and my daughter followed a few years later a 5 lb 9 oz they were both small for their ages and now my son is the smalles in his class but my daughter is shooting up! lol! Just enjoy and don;t be curious, your only comparing and digging a hole of worry!

My baby is exactly 3 and a half months old tomorrow, and at his last appt. (a week and a half ago) he was 24inches and weighed 15 lbs.
The doctor said he's in the 50th percentile for height and 75th-90th percentile for weight!
The nurse said he's "short and chubby"! :)
(I'm glad you asked this question!, because I'm wondering what the average is for his age) ...
It looks like Jackson's Meem's baby is the same measurements as my son, so I don't know why they'd say he's near the 90th percentile for weight! (because she said that was 3 weeks ago, and that would have put her son then, the same age my son was last week at his appt.)
I think I'm gonna post a question and find out everyone's babies heights!! Now I'm curious :)
