My favorite teacher was a student teacher I had my senior year in high school in my History class. He had been a college football player that had a serious injury & he had no feeling left in his left arm. I feel so bad that I don't remember his name. But long story made short..I never got good grades in History & the trimester that he taught me I actually ENJOYED it..WOW..he made it interesting, which no teacher before had ever done...History had always been so boring for me....to top it off I got an A for that trimester! :o)

Yes I do. Arthure Moorefield, Ph.D. Music - my first year of college. I credit HIM with keeping me interested in learning new and exciting things, because of the way he taught MUSIC. To this day my passion for the classical music is related to his way of having taught ME - a former decorated Marine from the First Persian Gulf War. A kid who could carry an M-16 and a map and shoot 400 yards or more to.......well shall we say do some damage.

Unfortunately, Dr. Moorefield died in his office two years later.

Thanks for the question and the memory. YOU get a star.

Gerry :)

I had a favorite "History teacher". She taught me all about "greek history" and then, many years later, I lived in Greece for almost two years. I always remembered her "teachings"!!
