This is going to sound really stupid...but I am seeing stars, and I don't know why...just out of the corners of my eyes, and up to the top...in my peripheral vision you know. Is there something wrong? I have a really stable low blood pressure at every appointment, so I'm sure that has nothing to do with it... What could it be? Am i ok? Feel a bit dizzy and out of breathe a lot...but I think that is normal, as baby is getting really big. Please help.

The same thing happened to me, and is still happening. I called the doctor and they did blood work and a non stress test and everything was fine. He told me it could just be all of the weight I am carrying. I have only gained 18 pounds this pregnancy but I got pregnant 7 months after having my son so I didnt lose all of the weight I gained with him either. Make sure you keep hydrated. If you have low sugar drink a glass of orange juice..if your sugar level is high stay away from sugars (obviously) and fruits..some people dont realize how high fruit can raise your sugar level. If you start having severe headaches, throwing up, cramping etc I would definately call your doctor immediately as those are signs of pre eclampsia or toxemia. If you are very worried and without all of those other signs it doesnt hurt to call your doctor and get checked out.

well the "blowfish-ness" is totally normal! I wouldn't be worried about that. The numbness is a little concern, I'd talk to my doc.. but sounds like you've already did. The stars concerns me. I mean, getting light headed is normal, but that's pretty extreme. If your doc is not too concerned, then I'd stay in bed. :( It will suck, and make it go SO MUCH LONGER, but that's what I'd do. stars isn't good. Good luck

I'm 39.5 weeks and I thought I was crazy. I haven't mentioned it to my dr either but I have a stable low blood pressure too. I'm very curious now because I really thought I was "seeing" things..lol hope someone has an answer

You should go see your doctor. I had this earlier and if it is what I had, it will go away. Close your eyes for a few minutes. It may be from the strain of carrying your baby. You should be fine but check with your doc just in case
