It depends on what you will think about. If it's something that causes you to behaive in a bad way, then sure, it's good to have something, productive to keep you busy, preferably something you genuinely enjoy and/or see as important to bringing you further along in life. The old saying is, "An idle mind is the devil's playground". Essentially, this means if you sit around just thinking and not doing, you imagination will go to places that will waste your time. Don't get me wrong. We should always think things through before we make a decision. But most of the time, we're in situations that recquire us to react immediately.
If you stay busy, however, I think it'll keep you thinking about the important things and will actually enhance your thinking. Sorry for the long answer...lol.

It is absolutely essential, to set time aside for contemplation, and introspection. The quality of your life depends on it. We all have things we need to get done, e.g., work, school, laundry and preparing dinner. We also, like to escape at times, by watching a movie or reading a book. However, there needs to be a time, where we can be alone, doing nothing, letting our minds wander.

If only it was that easy. Sometimes it works but at other times you are physically busy but mentally your still thinking about it.

What works for me is trying to resolve the matter and when it is out of my control I can put it out of my mind as I have no control.

Good luck
