well today i changed there fish tank and wen i was putting the tank bak on the shelf, i saw them sideways in the bowl i keep them in while i change the tank....then i put the net in to tranfer them and they moved a bit...but are now again in a trance....
other details---
for the last cuple days ive been giving them a new fish food, but idk if they ate it, cuz the filter was full of goldfish pellets
also there mitve been a temp. difference from the tank (wen dirty) and the small goldfish bowl

did you change all the water in the tank you never change all the water in a tank a 25 percent water change is all you ever need to do and you put them in uncyled water while cleaning then put them back into an uncycled tank there is your problem

You stressed out the fish when you took them out of their tank and put them into different water which has a different ph level and a different temperature. In the future leave the fish in the origional tank and only take out 25% of the water. Buy Start Right from the pet store or walmart to add to the new water. Their is nothing you can do to make them better...sorry.

Did you de-chlorinate the water in the holding bowl? How about the water in the tank?

don't panic! one of my fish has a similar problem, are the fish floating at the top of the water? were the fish ok when they were eating the old type of fish food? i don't think the temperature would have done that, do the fish move their fins around, make sure it's not the filter moving them? send your answer to my email: fuzzfoot17@hotmail.com and don't worry this can be sorted out
