?? under the hood...?? 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2 is the firing order..
if you look at the motor from the front of the truck/car you will notice one cylinder head is forward about 2" of the other
side.. this will be on the drivers side.. those cyl's are 1 3 5 7
and the other side is..2 4 6 8 front to rear... the timing for
your motor should not exceed 40 degrees at 3000 and above
RPM and base idle should be about 850/900rpm....
good luck... keep your fingers out of the fan belt...

Drivers side #1 #3 #5 #7 Passengers side #2 #4 #6 #8 firing order rased numbers on the intake manifold
