Every morning I travel into London, and every morning, without fail, the London Underground interchange is closed due to overcrowding. Not one morning, or a couple of mornings, but EVERY single morning. If we can't cope with the people that are already in this country (and we can't), then why are still allowing uncontrolled and unplanned immigration to continue?

Here's a clue - read the queston first and please try to ignore knee-jerk reactions. I clearly state in the question 'uncontrolled and unplanned' immigration. I have nothing against immigration in a controlled manner, taking in only the people that the country actually needs.

it will continue and theres nothing we can do about it. I dont understand how it works. Fair enough if we have a shortage of particular type of person like nurses ect then let them in but if there is one manual labourer on the dole why are we letting more in.

Its a JOKE but the Government wont listen to what the people and experts have to say. Where is all the houses going to come from for the Immigrants when we cant find homes for the English people who were born here. The crime rate has risen because of Immigrants and the prisons are full. The NHS is at breaking point,.We cant take anymore but they will still come in legally or illegal and we dont have the manpower to stop it or the backing of Gordon Brown. It used to be called GREAT BRITAIN but now its just a charity Island for anybody who wants free benefits, free health care, free housing, free language lessons etc, etc, I am soooo Angry!!! Anybody remember Enoch Powell's speech about the '' Rivers of Blood '' If not type it in Google and read.

It should not be allowed to continue, but will never change while Brown is running things.
Why is this Self- Elected person allowed to inflict further damage to this country and ignore the wishes of the electorate???
When he is eventually forced into an election and many Labour MP's (New and Old) lose their seats, I'm sure they will wish they had stood up to him.

Britain is more than just London. As with all older cities, they did not plan 200 years ahead for such massive expansion. If another large metropolis were to sprout in England, this would alleviate some of the congestion.
I spent some time in London and Harlow-Essex. I went there for training on a Secondary Radar system (MSSR) that I installed and tested around the US. No one told me about your UN-POSTED national speed limit. I thought I was a rock star with all of the speed camera flashes going off.
During a previous visit I hung out in Gloster, Swindon, and Burton on The Water.

It will continue and it probably should not. Here's a thought. My partner is foreign and is of the opinion that if we disposed of welfare and housing benefit for immigrants the numbers desiring to come would drop dramatically. I mean, they don't come for the weather, do they !!

It will continue and there is nothing the gov. intends to do about it. Its forcing wages down and making us more competitive with places that use slave labour such as Bangladesh
