There will never be peace. It might look like peace but its not peace. We are at Iraq now for more then 3 years. We cannot impose our way of thinking into other people. Peace is respecting culture and beliefs without human suffering and who knows when this will be possible. Peace is a myth we just got to get along with each other. People in Africa are still starving, you cant have more then one child Japan, So how can we understand the world, lets just try to live in it getting along and helping people.

Bush promises were not to invade another country - check out the old debates in 2000. I made the mistake of voting for him.
Yes, world peace is why I would like the 4 time Nobel Peace Prize nominee Governor Richardson the US President in 2008. He has negotiated with North Korea, Israel-Palistine, Iran-Iraq, Sudan.... Richardson is the most qualified candidate - Popular governor, US Energy Secretary when gas was a buck, and US Ambassador to the United Nations. Plus, Richardson has more congress experience than the junior senators Barack, Hillary, and Edward.

It would be nice. I'm not sure it's within the realm of possibility, given human nature.
I read somewhere recently that anarchists are the most idealistic of people, because they genuinely believe that people can get along together without rules, structure, laws, or controls.
I am not an anarchist because I can't believe that.

just think of all the people and their handiwork that has been destroyed by war. the soldier, above all else prays for peace because he/she knows how destructive and evil war is. peace only profits the populace and until the populace regains control there will be no peace, unfortunately
