Your question is just like using a paper cup trying to save your sinking boat. our country's problem isn't immigrants its special interests in our government money and politics just should not be dependent on one another. you want examples people vote for a president more based on their looks then on their agenda, the president who racks up the most money is the one who seems to always win. where does that money come from? just like people here rant and talk junk about religion or immigration they should do real and unbiased research and what ever it is that they talk about. that money obtained for the race comes from organizations and companies who dont want to be affected in anyway while that candidate that they chose is presdient. ie- pharmaceutical companies and insuarance organizations and our crippled healthcare programs and expensive medicine. tobacco companies and theyr addictive and unhealthy ciggarettes, ofcourse no on will do anything because smoker tax money goes to the govenrment at the expense of the smokers who later will end up with disorders and cancer. do i need to bring up the oil based companies and their special interest in out government, just check who they have as the leader of afghanistan someone who works for an oil company or or representativesin iraq, dont expect the government to save us anytime soon from these gas prices. when people stop blaming out of emotion and stop blaming"illegals" for everything and attack the core of the problem then just mayber things will change...

This is not very Libertarian like but I never said I was a 100% Libertarian, close all the borders and clear out all illegals or expired visa people no matter the cost. Bring home all troops to patrol our borders including Hawaii and Alaska include any and all of U.S. territories and any U.S.A. military posts or embassy's in other countries that really want us in their country and pull out of the ones that do not.

The answer to immigration is assimilation. The problem is not the people coming here but the slow down in their assimilation to our culture. The easiest way to handle the matter is not to close the borders, since that will never work. Instead we should allow who ever wants to come here to come here. BUT. When they arrive they should be given a green card and told they have five years to become an American Citizen. During those five years they cannot return to their country. If the return they are barred forever from returning to the US. At the end of the five years they can become citizens or they can leave. If the leave they can never come back. If they become citizens for the next ten years they may return to their country of origin for two weeks per year, longer then two weeks they lose their citizenship and cannot return. At the end of the ten years they are free to travel as much as s they want
When the European immigrant came here many years ago they never returned to their home country and so they assimilated
There is not much danger of take over by Islamic Law since most Arab-Americans are doing a pretty good job of assimilating. But we can add a level of protection by making sure their children assimilate. If we prevent the consent return home that now plagues immigration the second generation will be "American" in the same way as second generation Irish, Germans and Poles were.
Remember the 9-11 hi-jackers were not illegal but on student visa so the elimination of that program should also be considered. Want to come here to study? Fine but you need to become a citizen first.

Cultural bias isn't always a bad thing. We do ourselves a disservice by allowing immigrants who don't believe in individual freedom, equality of the sexes, non-mixture of church and state, and other basic American values to settle here.
I don't care where you're from or what the color of your skin is. As long as you believe in the principles of America, you should be made welcome.

I'm a liberal, but immigration isn't a matter of ideology. Immigration laws exist to benefit the people of the United States, not illegal aliens. I'm concerned about economic freedom for workers, who should be protected from losing their jobs to illegals who will work for less.
Illegal aliens should be deported, and the people who knowingly hire them should be jailed.

Much in the same way it is now except, CLOSE THE BORDER NOW. Our current immigration policy is okay but we need to enforce our laws down South and even up North. One other thing I would change is that we allow the more qualified immigrants waiting to get into the US access first or a way to get in faster.

Penalize the corporations who support undocumented workers. Why blame the undocumented workers?? Attack the corporations who benefit from the cheap labor of these workers.

Here briefly are suggested methods of containment and de-Islamization:
Demographic containment
1. Ban muslim immigration
2. Evacuate non-muslims from muslim countries to de-islamise non-islamic countries
3. Selective import of non-muslims
4. Encourage ban on abortion and raise fertility to at least replacement levels
This means there is no demographic vacuum that can let in muslim immigrants
