I usually buy 15-20 lbs of candy. The little beggars only wind up with a pound or 2. The rest never makes it to the 31st.

No, but, what I thought be fun. Find a house where the lights out. Set up my pumpkin and a few other decorations like I live there and sit on the porch. When a kid come up to Trick-or-Treat I grab their bag of candy and run off. It sound fun, but, I could never do it. But, sometimes I make trades for some stuff. I look in their bag and I keep my trade bag of stuff. The children find that fun. And, I still give out candy.

Yeah, I end up doing that every year. I manage to pass out two or three handfuls, but keep the rest for myself cause I don't want the kids rotting their teeth. I figure since I don't have that many teeth, it isn't going to hurt me at this stage of my life, so I eat it myself. Matter of fact, I just changed my bedroom around and found a piece of candy that was up against the wall by my bed. I ate it.

Just throw it out and get a new package on the day of Halloween especially about a half an hour before handing out candy

Close, I've come really close. Luckily on my street there aren't a lot of trick or treaters so we have lots left over.
