f(x)=-2x+4

this equation can also be written as

y=-2x+4

To graph it, you need to find the x and y intercepts.

To find the Y intercept set x = 0 and solve for y:

y = -2(0)+4
y = 4

To find the X intercept set y = 0 and solve for x:

0 = -2x+4
-4 = -2x
x = 2

Then plot those points on the graph and connect the dots!

Hope it helps =)

y + 2x = - 4
- y/4 - x/2 = 1 . . . . . . divide all by - 4
intercepts . . .y = - 4 . . .and . . . . x = -2
or . . . . (0, - 4) . . . and . . ( - 2, 0 )
just connect these two point and you have the line
