I am now 37 weeks, baby had been engaged since 35 weeks now, his head is now so low that the nurse felt it when her hand was 'up there' when she gave me an internal examination..do you think he will stay this low for another whole 3 weeks (or more) or is he likely to come earlier due to this? experiences please

There's no way to know. Some babies engage early and stay low right up until delivery. It could be weeks away.

I carry all my babies low and they drop early but that has never made me go into labor sooner.

He can stay low for as long as he wants to. It is normal wih a first pregnancy for baby's head to become engaged several weeks before delivery.

The baby being low has no bearing on when labor will begin. Some babies drop very early, others don't drop until labor starts.

One doesn't really have anything to do with the other.

When the baby is ready to be born he will release certain hormones which cause your uterus to be more reactive to oxytocin and have less progesterone and other hormones that impede the action of oxytocin.
