When you rate an answer to someone's questions Does anyone care when they receive a thumbs down from someone who has read your answer and didn't like it?

I think if you choose to thumbs down you should give a reason why you thought it deserved a thumbs down? like the stars...

I think it's rather useless to have the thumbs up/down part.
Maybe just a thumbs up, if an answer is liked, but not a need for the other way. Why would an (either/or) question (i.e. Do you like Coke or Pepsi?) get numerous thumbs down for one that answers Pepsi and not someone else? It makes no sense and doesn't bother me, lol!

No I don't get angry cuz I never go back through and look just to see if someone gave me a thumbs up or not. I just like to answer questions in my opinion. I don't care what others may think of my answers.

It doesn't bother me as I've seen people with 6+ thumbs down still get best answer :)

no...can't blame them coz it's their opinion....different prople have different opinions....so if someone gives a thumb down, there will be some1 who'll give a thumbs up....if they don't...then your question's just stupid
