Q1: If you had the authority and the ability to change the US government what would you do to change the fact that illegal immigrants are slowly but surely invading our country; what would you do about social security, the healthcare system, etc.

Q2: With regards to your first answer, what are you gonna do to bring that change about?

Please aim for constructive answers.... Thx.

I'm not asking for solutions to all those problems, just giving examples. Pick an issue that you feel strongly about and go with it. ^.^

I would build a fence on our border, give all illegal aliens 6 months to go home and then those that remain would be deported and the companies that employ them would be heavily fined.

Social Security would be basically the same, except those that wanted to control their own funds could do so and vice versa.

Healthcare would be available to all, but the companies that do not offer insurance (of course with extenuating circumstances involving small numbers of employees excluded) would be responsible for paying into the system.

In Iraq I would deploy more soldiers to take over the country and ultimately break it into 3 equal states with one federal government.

I am going to vote and campaign for the Presidential candidate and Congressional candidates that will most likely do what I think is right.

My main issue is illegal trespassing. To help to fight the illegal problem concerning the border, is to create jobs, for Americans, by digging a wide ditch from each end point to the other, allowing in the sea water from the Gulf to the pacific ocean, rather like a canal, and construct an electric fence on both sides of said canal, both being on American soil, therefore America owning, and monitoring them. Only one pass would remain open for cars to travel from Mexico to USA, that being the Tijuana opening.
All along, as this work is in progress, Policemen will be given the same authority as a border patrol agent, and when they come across an illegal, they can have them detained, and transported, back to whence they came being it Mexico or any other country. Teens, and adults who were presently out of work would be paid at the minimum wage, or slightly higher by tax dollars, like a police officer, fireman, or border patrol agent is. I KNOW almost no one would mind a slight tax hike until the duration of the project was over. There also may be a way to cut another expenditure to afford the workers and new canal, and fences as well, instead of a new tax. I'd bet my buttons, too, that a lot of the American people wouldn't mind doing some of the work for FREE!

1. well... first off, immigration has always gone on in America, and for a large part, it's a reason we are as strong as we are... it has always been somewhat of a drain on certain aspects of our economy, but the benefits in the past have outweighed the negatives...

I've seen nothing that shows that this has changed... only focusing on the negatives more doesn't make the positives disappear?

why is it such a huge problem now compared to the past? None of the problems that are mentioned are anywhere close to being "new problems"?

but if you REALLY want to end it... simply give huge FINES to companies caught employing illegals... I mean like "company bankruptcy" size fines... they would stop doing it pretty quick, and they aren't offering Americans jobs anyway, so it wouldn't be a big loss if they went out of business...

and it would be about a million times cheaper than building a wall and twice as effective... no jobs... no reason for them to come here...

social security needs to be locked down and the politicians shouldn't be able to "borrow" money out of it... it would be very close to solvent, if we did that... you can't spend your rent on a vacation and be surprised when you don't have enough to pay the rent...

health care is a problem... on the whole, socialized health care works in almost every other industrialized nation in the world... and most have longer lifespans, lower infant mortality rates and on and on...

it's not perfect, but many of it's "negatives" are GREATLY exaggerated if you look into it...

2. vote for people with ideas similar to mine... I like Obama a lot...

[not going to be dumb enough to fence myself in. it is equivalent to locking yourself in a house]

all elections must be grass roots and no candidate can use more than a certain amount of money for their political slate

all americans will be in the DNA database (already exist to some extend) so when registering for school or stopped for a traffic ticket, we know who u are (no SSNs) using your DNA (no bloodletting needed, swabs work fine). all others are sent back to where their DNA says they are from

mandatory work (the kind done in china now) for all able bodied prisoners in jail today (a full ten hours with breaks and lunch)

free college education for all those with a C or better in high school

free healthcare that is paid for by all the work done by the jail prisoners labor (see above). this is how they will give back to society.

police officers get triple the pay (more the corporate executives) , BUT if they are caught in illegal or wrongful activities, then they get LIFE in prison.

MBA is the lowest degree with any SCIENCE degree being the most valuable.

all american corporations MUST keep jobs in american OR no tax break. penalties for all american companies who go to other countries for labor.

i could go on for days.

Well believe it or not we are under a National Health Care system, building a wall won't keep immigrants out. So I'd say I see no "Simple"/clear way to solve all these problems without cooperation from Congress, and Hopefully NOT HILLARLY CLINTON. The government is corrupt and blinded by oil and money.

I would close the border by building a fence, manning it with with the military and giving the border guards the men and equipment they need to get this done.

On Healthcare I would only hope those that need it the most. I am a firm advocate of the government helping those that have already tried and failed to make it on their own.

What I would change, I would do slowly. Any change on that large a scale can't be implemented overnight: assuming it were even capable of happening that quickly, it would cause massive upheaval. Doing it slowly allows for things to adjust.

I would build the fence, have all levels report illegal aliens no matter what the crime is, even if it's jaywalking. Only help the poor with health insurance and promote private insurance. People have to help themselves before getting help from the taxpayers.

do a fair shake policy

if Mexico arrests Americans for the smallest thing we arrest them for the smallest thing

if say Iraq invades and seizes the land they conquer then we invade Iraq and do the same so on and so forth.

basically do unto others as they do unto us.
