Bush cut taxes.
We could have used that surplus money to pay off the national debt.
Now we are in debt over 9 trillion dollars.
Republican spending over the last seven years has been out of control with no plan to pay for it. Repubs have mortgaged our future, setting us up for huge tax increases....
I always hear the term tax and spend dems...but all I see are tax and spend repubs.

Oh, Yes. Frankly I can't see what they are trying to accomplish except to make the rich richer. They will never learn that trickle down economics does not work nor will it ever (for the lower status) it surely does help the wealthy, but then that is what they want.
You, me, and our children and grandchildren are the ones to pay for it. The slaves are the ones who pay....always.

repubs say one thing and do another also the Dem's. they promise to do alot. And they do. For them self's! company's that make bullets are cleaning out taxpayers pockets. it's just to much money being spent in this silly fight. you'd think people would wake up and smell the bullshit.good question.

I believe reagan and bush hold the all time records for tax and spend. One is good and dead...let's pray the current one follows suit.

Sure, if you give heroin away for free,
junkies won't look for illegal ways to get it.
But that's not Republican values. Stable currency
should go over spending then. Just from an outsider. :)

dude did you miss political bullshit 101 in school?check out the stats on tax revenue.setting records because of the tax cuts.as for spending,both parties are whores,however the republicans are amateurs compared to the dems.for your information the dems ran the show for 50+ yrs.till they were kicked out in 1995.so lets not forget this shi*t did not happen overnight.

George W Bush's record is not accurate of most Republican records. Traditionally, Republicans cut taxes and reduce spending, not increase it.
