Anger in some people is expressed in their depressive bahvior personalities where as in others it is expressed out right in anger; however it is the same anger expressed in different patterns of the personalities of the people.
It is very difficult to assess the anger of a depressed person and it can be equally if not more harmful to the children than the parents who anger openly.

Not necessarily... Because SOME Depressives experience virtually NO feelings AT ALL- So you can't really consider them "Angry..." Angry people have a LOT of pent up feelings- that all too often- have no place to focus them on...

Depression takes many forms. Most have nothing to do with anger. Some are because of brain chemistry that can best be treated with medication. Others are situational or overwhelming sadness. Anger can be expressed in a way that is harmful to children. There is a responsible way to express anger. People screaming in front of their children or using harsh speach is VERY harmful toward them.

Depression is not necessarily even an emotional condition. It can have more to do with a bio-chemical imbalance than something like anger. You are really talking about two different afflictions, although it is possible for anger and depression to be symptoms of each other.

depression is anger turned inwards. and it makes the person tired and sad. sometimes sleeping off the anger is good instead of going out and yelling or hitting people.
