i have not had text messaging for a while now and i asked for it for my birthday but my dad said " i dont understand why you need it"
i have tried and tried to explain to him.
any new pointers?

i have to agree with your dad, i think texting is stupid but if you really want it tell him you need it for emergencys when someone does not answer their phone. also tell him you will do extra chores for him if he lets you have texting.

sometimes it could be cheaper to text than to call... if u get unlimited
