Assuming you're naming a baby girl, Scarlett, hands down.
If you're naming a pit bull or looking for a stage name to front your punk band, perhaps Skarlett is a better choice. :)

I definitely much prefer the name with a 'C' rather than a 'K'. Sometimes it's okay to switch around letters, but it just gets confusing and looks unprofessional and sloppy. Like someone named Alex who spells it Alyxx. It just looks kind of ridiculous. With the 'K' in there, it isn't that dramatic of a change, but I still prefer the first way!

If you want to be unique...Skarlett.
If you want the child to undergo the least amount of stress through her lifetime trying to get people to spell her name right and discern that she is not illiterate in spelling her own name...Scarlett.

Scarlett, hands down. You can also use the actual Scarlet spelling -- not unusual in the least -- but there's absolutely no reason to change the C to a K here. Not at all attractive, to be honest ... though I love Scarlet(t) itself. ;)

I'm not too keen on the name since it has the word "scar" in it which sounds pretty harsh. But I would go with "sCarlett".

It's ok but you know your child would go through life having people call her Scarlett O'Hara or saying to her "Frankly Scarlett I don't give a damn" like in the movie.
