A couple that I know of that do offer Military discounts >if they have rooms available. I know that in your profession it's often not possible to plan well in advance, but this is short notice, and a weekend.

The Stratosphere gives military discounts

And I know that Caesars Palace offers great rates to military personnel if they have the rooms.

If Caesars can't accommodate you, you might try one of the other Harrah's hotels.

I would call reservations to check.

IMO Caesars Palace is the best "overall" resort in LV and they have some incredible rooms, just be forewarned that their "classic" rooms are very small and not up to the standards of a 5 star hotel.

The Stratosphere is a nice 3 star hotel, but the location at the far North end of the strip makes it unpopular. You might be able to get a very nice suite here though for the same price as a room elsewhere.

You might consider Imperial Palace, Excalibur or Golden Nugget downtown. Whether you get a discount will have a lot to do with what else is happening in Vegas the weekend of Nov. 9th and the room availability. (check the convention calendar) Bare in mind you will be paying weekend rate which will be a little more than weekday rate.

Call the hotel and ask for active duty discounts.

Treasure Island is my recommendation. It's a fantastic hotel, not too expensive, and it's clean/ good food, etc. It's also on the center of the Las Vegas strip so you are still near all the action. :)

CircusCircus if you're looking for a family environment...
if not I would recommned the Wayne, MGM, Treasure Island, Ceaser's Palace or the hotel next to Ceaser's Palace.

STAY away from Circus Circus. Sure it's on the strip but they have lots of rug rats running around. The Station Casinos are not on the strip.

Call any of the Stations casinos ... I am pretty sure they have active duty discounts.

Whatever you do, don't visit on a weekend!

Hotel rates go up during this time of the week.

But at least it will be nice this time of year.

Unlike the summer.

Ugh.
