I personally freeze to death whenever I'm at HSBC. Now I am also a major wussy but I'd encourage you to at least bring the hoodie. Lol, what am I, your mom?

We don't have a NHL team in our city - but have college hockey. The arena here is chilly but tolerable. There have been games that it has been downright freezing! Once, two players from the opposing team happened to sit behind us (they weren't playing that night) and asked if it was always that cold in the arena! So, with that being said, wear a T-shirt under a hoodie. That way, if you are too warm you have the T-shirt underneath. Enjoy the game!

Is it an NHL game? Where are you sitting? Those are all factors in this. I remember checking out my first hockey game at Maple Leafs Gardens (it was against the Jets after some trade with Jets and Leafs) and I was bundled up in the nosebleeds. However, I didn't even needed to be bundled up.

I'd recommend a 3 piece suit, a fedora, and nice pair of dress shoes
