A family member is in a wheelchair and has no use of her left hand/arm. Right hand/arm is fine. She was a good (real) tennis player, but has no experience with video games.

Can she handle the Wii tennis game?

In case anyone's interested (this many years later) - although she was physically able to handle the controller, her lack of video game experience and difficulty learning made the game unplayable. She'd try to serve or hit with a real-world motion which was too gradual for WII to recognize it. WII wants a sharper wrist-flicking motion to signal the action; it wouldn't accept any of her swings. We returned the borrowed WII and didn't buy her one.

Sure you dont even really have to swing your arm. You can just move your wrist to control it.

Yes she can. I have played Wii Tennis sitting down before. It takes a little practice but yes you can play sitting down.

Well she would have to use her better arm and its all a flick of the wrist really not running across room. I lay on my couch using one hand just lightly and sometimes wacking the ball. So anyone can do it just make sure your like 5-10 feet away cause more close the worse game play will be

Probably, I have played tennis sat down, although it is a little more difficult it can be done.

Yes, and I sure that she has overcome plenty of other obstacles. Given time, I bet she can kick your butt.
