Our list is:

Kira (sounds like Keira)
Jonah (I know it's typicly a boy's name, but we really like it)
Mia (just think this name is quite adorable)
Holly (her due date is Christmas)
Hannah (my sisters name)
Courtlyn (my husband's middle name is Court, and Courtney is too overused)

My personal favorites are Courtlyn and Mia.

I need the pro's and con's on all of these names, and overall which combo should we use?

I think Mia Courtlyn sounds really nice. I'm not a big fan of names that can be both a boy or a girl's name (Jonah). Holly is really cute considering the reason why you want to name her that. Hannah Mia is also really pretty. The other names are nice by themselves, but they really don't sound good together. I'm sure you'll make a good decision in the end, and congratulations on your baby girl!

Kira (sounds like Keira)
*** Too overused at the moment for my taste. Also, this is one of the more problematic spellings, since it's generally considered a form of Kyra, rather than Ciara (your "Keira"), and just as properly said KIE-ra.

Jonah (I know it's typicly a boy's name, but we really like it)
*** Actually, Jona -- without the H -- is classically a feminine name. I'd stay away from the popular masculine Jonah myself, but Jona I actually quite like. ;) It's a feminine form of John, by the way (if meaning is a concern) ... similar to Joan, Jane, etc.

Mia (just think this name is quite adorable)
*** As a given name, I honestly don't care for this (sorry). :( It just tends to come across as a bit cheesy, literally translating to "mine" and all. For example, I know a couple with a daughter named Mia Bella ... just so they could call her "my pretty." Just a bit lame, if you know what I mean. As a nickname, however, I don't mind it nearly as much. Maria, Amelia, Emilia, Emelina, Matilda, etc. There are plenty of formal options. ;)

Holly (her due date is Christmas)
*** More 70s cheesy (Noelle seems to be the "new" December-themed name of choice), but still not one I'd likely use.

Hannah (my sisters name)
*** Popular, but classic, and I quite like the personal meaning here.

Courtlyn (my husband's middle name is Court, and Courtney is too overused)
*** Not my style at all. I really dislike the current trend to tack -lyn onto just about anything. And in all honesty, having a Court and Courtlyn in the same household seems more problematic than it's worth. Also, while I realize naming after yourself (either parent) is common practice, I prefer a name to actually honor a loved one if I'm going to bother repeating it. Hannah, for your sister, for instance. ;) It's not exactly an honor if the person being "honored" has a hand in the choosing. LOL

If you really want her to have a name linked to her father, however, you might consider a more subtle connection. Something literally related to the court or law, or even a "royal court," if you know what I mean. For example:

Eunomia - "good order" in Greek and the name of the goddess presiding over law.

Themis - "law of nature; divine law." The familiar embodiment of the law represented by a blindfolded woman holding a pair of scales.

Shariah - traditionally masculine name meaning "divine or noble law."

Regina - "queen"

Reina - ditto

Thema - ditto again ;)

Rhiannon - "great queen"

You get the idea. ;)

1) Kira: I personally like Kiera (pronounce Key-Air-Ah) better.
2) Jonah: DEFINITELY a boy's name.
3) Mia: Love it. (Just asking, is it Me-ah, or My-ah?)
4) Holly: That's really cool since she will be born on (or around) Christmas. Personally, I think it would work better as a middle name, since it's a little more unusual.
5) Hannah: Common, but pretty. It would cool for her to share a name with your sister.
6) Courtlyn: Love it. I think it would be so cool for your daughter to share her father's name, since usually only sons are named for their fathers.

I think Courtlyn Mia or Mia Courtlyn would be great.

I love Hannah. I have a 13 year old named Hannah. It's beautiful, but very common. I really like almost all of your names though. I also really like Kira. It's very cute and pretty, but maybe a bit too little girlish. Mia is absolutely lovely. I really can't think of anything bad about it. Holly is also very pretty. It's cute, but not little girl cutesy. I'm not big on Courtlyn at all. I do like Courtney even though it's overused. And I never liked Jonah for eith sex. Maybe Joan, Joanne, or Joannah instead? Congrats on the baby!

Holly - 10 [I knew a girl named Holly and she was very nice and smart]
Mia - 9 [I agree, it's a very cute name]
Jonah - 8 [nice, you could spell it Jona]
Hannah - 4 [it's okay, if you want to name her after your sister, than it's a good name]
Kira - 4 [reminds me of the rail-thin celebrity]
Courtlyn - 2 [I am sorry but it reminds me of the name of a street]

*Kira is a beautiful name and almost sounds exotic.
*Jonah is a cute name, and great if you want to be unique, but some people may not understand why you would choose a typical boy name for her.
*Mia really is adorable and will be great as a child and when she is an adult. It sounds cute, but professional too, u know?
*Holly is a beautiful name and, too me, sounds rich. It also gives a special meaning to your family since her due date is Christmas
*Hannah is a great name. I personally love it, but family dinners and holidays may be confusing if there is more than one Hannah in the family (There is someone who shares my name in my family and it gets confusing)
*Courtlyn is a great name. It sounds sporty, yet cute. It's also nice to have that father-daughter relationship between the two of them. :]

Hope this helps! All are wonderful names and I wish you luck!

Because you like 2-syllable first names, most of these can't be used together and sound melodic. And because we don't know your last name, putting it all together is impossible.

I recommend you add Noelle to the mix, because it is pronounced no WEL, the switching of emphasis makes it go well with any of your names.

Holly Noelle is a perfect Christmas name.
I think Court could be used as a middle name, Kira Court Johnson...

My favorite, I think, is Holly or Kira, maybe Hannah. I considered naming my next daughter Johnna. Almost Jonah, but a little more feminine in the spelling.

Holly Noelle
Kira Courtlyn
Hannah Noelle
