Khourie is how my cousin's lastname is spelt,
its prounonced like Cory
A friend of mine who knows my family, considered naming her baby this, spelt the same way if it was a girl.
So what would you think of a girl named Khourie ?

my bf last name is also Khouri (not a very common name in the west).
i like it as a first name but spelt Cory.
also i think its more of a guys name.

I know a girl named Corey, but I think Khourie would be hard on the girl. Having to spell it out for people and tell her teachers how to pronounce it. maybe Korie, but I don't really like Khourie

It looks beautiful, but the child would have a rough time throughout her life trying to get people to spell it right. For a last name, it is nice, but it makes for a tough first name.

That she will have a lifetime of misery having it mispronounced and having to spell it over and over and over for people.
Don't name your child something just because its "different" or you like how it sounds. Give your child a strong, meaningful name. Remember, in the end, its not your name.

I love it but I think she might have a hard time spelling it when she younger, not only that but i think her friends would love her name but might get it mistaken for meeting ur daughter the first couple times. which that shouldn't be a problem really.
the name reminds me of a fun-loving, ambitious, and smart girl.
