I've decided to move out to the ocean. Moving away from it was the greatest mistake of my life and I miss the open water sooo much. I am happy, at peace and at home with the ocean. Atlantic or Pacific coast. Which would you prefer?
Distance is not an issue. I'm starting a new life and will spread roots once out there.

I am from the West, so I would say Pacific-- but I think since you are starting a new life, I think either one would be nice.
Look at quality of life, what you can afford and which state you would prefer to live in.

Well, I'm in the UK but I've always lived in the West, and especially near the coast. I've always wanted to live in West Coast USA :-)

personally I'll take my chances with hurricanes and the east coast as opposed to the west coast and earthquakes that u never know when they'll come.

East. Out west (California), there's numerous forest fires, earthquakes and crazy rain. It's generally peaceful in the East, and you've got Disney World!

East. Or you could buy some nice property in Nevada and soon it will be ocean front when Cali falls into the sea.
