Lyrical content - Not only has substance but paints a picture for you. They can speak on something youve always thought about but put it in a way that is so simple yet so profound that you never even began to look at it that way before.
Delivery - Voice & flow. This is what distinguishes an artist from other artists.
Adaptability - Not only being able to rap over any style of music it also includes ones ability to freestyle in the way that when given a piece of music on short notice being able to produce the material in a short amount of time.
When these three are obtained impact/influence/longevity/sales etc will follow...

IMO u dont need club bangers, or necessarily street credibility to be considered a great rapper

Never seen a great rapper. Maybe bad use of the English language. Not knowing proper etiquette when in public. Clothes don't fit properly. I'm not sure. You tell me.
