I'm working on a scrip spec of drama tv show that usually have 40 minutes.
It seems that i can write 40 pages per episode, but in real, how many pages are the standard ?

in general, dramas usually last 44 minutes, an hour with advertisement. a 1-hour drama script can be 45 pages (i.e. Nip Tuck) or 80 pages (i.e. Gilmore Girls).

An average network hour has 8 minutes of commercials, so 42 minutes of the show, less opening and credits. TV shoots about a page per minute, so at forty pages, you should be close to what you need.
