You would be better served NOT associating Putin to Stalin.
Putin dissolved the lower house of the Duma, Hitler did something simlar. Putin was chancelor before taking rule, so was Hitler. Putin instituted nationalist pride programs for youths, so did Hitler. Putin is anti-semitic, so was Hitler. There are actually more similarities...its kinda creepy. Hitler also came to power as a result of economic and political turmoil domestically, same with Putin. In fact, Putin's popularity rise on addressing these issues has allowed the public to turn a blind eye to the attrocities he has been committing (like killing journalists)...just like Hitler.

The US is ALSO trying to ban foreign countries from having nuclear capability. Sometimes justly. For example, Iran and North Korea. It's in our interest NOT to let them get that nuclear capability. So are we therefore like Stalin?? I don't think so.

Putin is NOT sending missiles to other countries however. It's not another cuban missile crisis. Bad analogy.

i think he is. and there are a number of them the world over right now. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (Iran), Vladmir Putin (USSR), Kim Jong Il (N.Korea), Hugo Chavez Frias (Venezuela), Evo Morales (Bolivia) Fidel Catro (Cuba). notice how they are all working together closely. signing trade accords, building facilities in eachother's countries. it worries me. Morales of Bolivia has already begun the suppression of the Latinos in favor of the indigenous of Bolivia. it is shameful.
