Please justify your choice of yes or no. I say yes, big years, good numbers even away from Coors, doesn't seem to have used steroids, great hitter, good defense, MVP.

Almost. Larry had a whale of a career, but too many injury years and he needed a milestone some where. Oh, I don't know. Maybe 500 doubles or 420 homers or something. He's one of the better players on the cusp. Now if the writers went good crazy for a change (they are usually bad crazy and ALWAYS stupid crazy) and voted him in, I wouldn't protest.

Walker is a nice player, but he could have used a few more counting stats. 2,160 hits? A little low. 383 homers? A little low.

Baseball-reference.com has him similar to Chipper Jones, Duke Snider and Ellis Burks. I think of him as a Dwight Evans type, very solid with a great arm. But not quite Cooperstown-level.

No. He does not have the accumulation of stats needed for the Hall of Fame. Yes he had a fine career and was always one of the best players in the league but never won MVP and never won a World Series, not enough All-Star game appearances either.

One of those guys who needed one or two more years of greatness. Was outstanding for many years, but fell off sharply at the end. Reminds me of Dale Murphy who suffered the same fate and didn't make the Hall.

no longer purely is he HOF worth, it may well be amazing to have a Canadian born participant donning an Expos hat on induction day. on the grounds which you gotta be attentive to men like Claude Raymond or Denis Boucher will by no skill make it (From the Jays, what are the probabilities of seeing Ron Ducey or Dave McKay)

I think he deserves it but I wouldn't be surprised if the voters stiff him because he played at Coors.

No. Very good for an extended period, but the Hall demands greatness.

Will get excitingly large vote totals however.

He has a good career batting average, but that's about all he has going for him.

Not enough hits, not enough RBI's, etc.
