My laptop is connected to the Internet wirelessly. I cant run a Ethernet cable straight from my router cuz it is too far away, and I don't wanna buy a wifi adapter...

ps. I dont just wanna share files, I want to play my 360 online.

You can on any verson of Windows. Just make a new network and enable internet connection sharing or the equivalent on Vista. Then try and connect as usual. But, if you connect through a router, wouldn't it be esier if your laptop is wireless (you can pick up a wireless adaptor for as little as 5 pounds) and you connect the ethernet cable direct to your router.

It might be easier, if you can afford the horribly overpriced accessory, to get a wireless adaptor. I've linked to the official one, but there are some companies who make comparable items for a cheaper price.

yes my friend used to do it, it doesn't work quite as well as the wireless adaptor but it does the job
