To become a pharmacist, it is 2-4 years of undergraduate work and 4 years of pharmacy school, so 6-8 years on average. Residencies are optional.
For doctors, it is 4 years of undergrad, 4 years of med, and a variable number of years for residency.

it usually takes about the 2 years in ur undergrad to get ur pre reqs done and once they are done u can apply to pharmacy school. pharmacy school is 4 years. so u can become a pharmacist after 6 years of schooling. it could take u longer, depending on how long it takes to finish your pre-reqs.
I am a senior in HS now and im planning on going for pharmacy school. im going to major in pharmacutical sciences and hopefully go to University at Buffalo's pharamacy school. Also i looked at the average GPA of students admitted to the pharmacy school and it was a 3.5 so think you are doing good with the 3.6.
