Who is going to replace Dario Franchitti on Andretti-Green?? Has the team announced it yet?

Depends who you talk to. Speedtv says Mutoh. Because he brings 6 million in sponsorship. Honda wants a Japanese driver to win a race and is throwing money to get him in the car. Scheckter and Buddy Rice were early candidates, but bring no money. Both are quality drivers and can set up a race car. Miera ran ALMS with AGR a couple of weeks ago. If you listen to Internet rumors you will hear other wild rumors that include Paul Tracey, because of his relationship with Team Green. Regardless, this is one of the most sought after seats in racing. Indy 500 Champion and IRL champion car.

I think Robin Miller is probably still up in the air on this one. If Honda and Japan want a winning Japanese driver, then they will spend the money to put Mutoh in at AGR. If it's just left to AGR, I hope they would go with Buddy Rice. He had some good results this year with the underfunded D & R team. If not these two, then it will either be Tomas or Miera. I would consider these four as safe bets for this seat. Briscoe will go to Penske when Roger finally puts enough pressure on Sam to go NASCAR next year. I don't think Paul wants to have anything to do with the IRL.

Seems a little much that they had 4 drivers anyway, but I won't tell them how to run their business.

I'm not sure who is available, Vitor Meira or Tomas Schector if available would be good.

I don't think Buddy Rice and Danica Patrick will ever be on the same team again.

I've heard rumors of Rice, Meira, Tomas S.. I know Honda wants a Japanese driver...Going to be interesting in seeing how this plays out..So far the team has not made any announcement yet..

I hope they sign Tomas. I think if he signed with a bigger team he would have better chances of winning more races.
