Unless you have online banking or phone pin you have to go to the bank and check. You should receive a paystub showing it was deposited. I wouldn't worry most DD are hassle free.

Go online to www.chase.com and click on "get user id". Answer all the questions and be careful when setting up your user name and password--it is very picky that you have a very secure name and password. As soon as you are successfully signed up, you will be able to see your balance. Click on your account to see your transaction history. If your direct deposit is not there yet, your employer probably has not set it up yet and you should get a check. Hopefully, they will have it ready for you next time if this is the case. Sometimes it does take several pay periods to get these things going. If your company claims that they paid you, you need to make sure they have all the right account information for you.

If you have online banking set up, go to your account and see if the paycheck posted. If your payday was Friday, it would probably show as pending and be posted on Saturday.

I had direct deposit of my paycheck since the 70s, with several different employers. I don't think I could deal with receiving an actual paycheck that I had to get to the bank.

If you haven't already, I would definitely consider enrolling in their On-line Banking. That way you can always check to see if the deposit went through. You can also view recent transactions and constantly monitor activities on your account.

Here's the link to register. GOOD LUCK!!!

In order to check your online banking account, your going to have to sign in using your user ID and password at their website. You say you already have online banking, so you should have that information somewhere.

ask your bank how to set up your online banking, and go forth and conquer, as it is so easy.
