Yes, but since no pitcher will ever come close to reaching the standards for plate appearances in a season (502) to qualify for a batting title. They are usually lumped together in (at least the S.F. Chronicle) local teams batting averages as pitchers.

Every player in both leagues potentially have batting averages. Remember, when an American League team plays a National League team during inter league play, they bat as well. Hence, a batting average!
