Isis: Does The Sniper At The Gates Of Heaven remind you of Piper at the Gates of Dawn or is it just me and my listening to too much Floyd?

The Sniper At The Gates Of Heaven by the Black Angels. The song doesn't make me giggle, but the title did the first time I heard it. Well, I didn't really giggle...chuckle I guess.
Edit: The title definitely does! In fact, that's the first thing I thought of when I heard the name of the song...
Edit again: I thought I would add, Satan Gave Me A Taco always makes me sick to my stomach (well, the first few verses at least) :-S Funny, but a bit sickening...every time I hear it I get an awful image in my head of someone eating a taco like the one described.

Obviously they were a spoof band, but Spinal Tap's "Big Bottom" gets my vote. The lyrics are superb as well..."My baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo, I'd like to sink her with my pink torpedo", and "The bigger the waistband, the deeper the quicksand". It's amazing that the film came out in 84'(or was it 82'?) and seemed to have no effect on the "real" heavy metal that was going on at the time. Just think of Motley Crue lyrics.....
I'll just add some Captain Beefheart titles..."Hey Garland, I dig your tweed coat", "Neon meate dream of a octafish" and "81' Poop Hatch" are pretty cool. The "how can I leave this behind" line is great as well....there's also "I love her each weekday, each velvety cheek day" of course.....
