Yes, they are!
HOW? The best suggestion I've heard is to increase the number of Representatives until the citizens per Rep. returns to what it was in 1789. Then lobbyists would be at least slightly less important. The cost could be paid for by cutting the size of each Rep.'s staff.

That is so very true. Even though the votes didn't count in Florida, remember.
But the people should remember that they have more [power than they are lead to believe.
At this stage of the game, LOUD complaining is the key and a necessity. Even though we have been complaining about bush, yet he still resides in that seat. All the Impeachment rallies. That's because of the negative power of money, look and see who benefits.

They are supposed to represent them, but most dont. The problem with voting for someone is that you might agree with them on certain issues, but on others you disagree. This is where the lesser of two evils comes into play. You might agree with a politician on most issues, but there will always be one issue you disagree on.

Most of them DO represent their people. Just because they don't do what you think they should does not mean they are not acting in favor of the interests of another!

i appreciate you for showing that you carry ALL Politicians to an similar familiar, and assume them to act in a fiscally to blame way. I assume an similar. in truth; In present day Q/A in this communicate board I honestly have commented on how I had referred to as my Congressman Paul Ryan's place of work to enable him understand i change into no longer chuffed on his capitulating on the funds idea that change into submitted except his own, that would have solved many budgetary topics and positioned us contained in the "BLACK" again after a 10 years era. instead he went alongside with relax of the Rino's and Speaker "JOHN BOEHNER" to "GET alongside", adverse to looking more suitable help for his idea that did not promote out his ideology, in order that he will be certain Republican "delicate funds" contributions. I went to varsity with Ryan's brother and were given to carry close him from countless purposes I worked safe practices for, and that i keep in mind that he has offered out to proceed to exist yet another day, and in no way inevitably to proceed to exist to wrestle yet another day. I honestly were very disillusioned in Ryan ever on condition that he allowed Newt to "Biitch Slap him" publicly for his funds idea, even as he must have pushed again and advised Newt to sit down and attempt protecting onto some ideas that are not sellouts later. i imagine after that experience Ryan had determined he understood what he had to do to stay between the Washington Political Elite, and that i'm worried about his destiny balloting alternatives on new bill Proposals being further Fiscally detrimental. the project with any immoral act, is the very truth you'll settle for decrease criteria and proceed to diminish the bar because you get used to the idea in case your previous stint with an immoral act yields no detrimental outcomes before each and everything. Then after awhile you lose your self to the techniques that reason you to take the elementary and thoughtless thanks to act, and the guy you've been in the previous receives lost to the status Quot and hence is lost perpetually....................................

They work for the largest contributors to their campaigns. Most members of the house, do fund raisers constantly. So they are influenced by money and what you can do for them.
