Currently I am using e-checks which are quite slow

If I transfer funds to my paypal account will paypal take the money from there and make the transfer faster?

If you had a paypal balance then yes your transactions would be instant. Around 30 seconds to be exact. Another way would be to add a credit/debit card to your account. By doing this it activates instant transfers. It does not charge the card anything and still debits the bank account. It sends the seller a payment instantly from your bank account and uses your credit card as a back up in case it is not able to charge the bank account.

Cancel the shipping label or whatever, and simply use your own pocket money and send the item off at the post office with a handwritten label and the postage they sell there. I've never used the shipping labels that PayPal has but I've sold a lot on eBay. All of which was paid in person at the post office. Also, don't be so eager to clean out your PayPal account. Leave some money in there. It's useful for stuff like eBay purchases and (ahem) paying the seller fees you've got coming up... unless they take it from elsewhere.

Paypal has been great for me in Transfering funds...2 to 3 days max.

yes but mine is linked to my credit card and its still fast
