Sorry if this is a really dumb question but my calender says it's tomorrow and I want to be certain so my schedule doesn't get messed up.

Thanks! :)

Hi Peace!

It depends on where you are.

If you're in North America, your calendar is wrong. The US and Canada go back on the first Sunday of November, the 4th.

If, however, you're in Europe, your calendar is right. Europe and Mexico go back tonight, in the wee hours of Sunday the 28th, the last Sunday of October.

If you're in North America, here's probably what happened. This year, 2007, was the first when the clocks sprung forward in March. (Europe has started its Daylight Time in March for decades.)

Some calendar companies may not have heard the news.

In Canada, the Bahamas, Bermuda and St. Pierre, some of the governments delayed, to see what we in the States would do. I think some of them left it until the last minute, and calendar makers either went to print before the final decision was made, or printed BOTH dates.

Look at your November calendar page, and see if it has the correct date there.

& Love (giggles),

Anne Marie has the only right answer: it depends on where you are. Most of Canada and the USA go back on November 4, but the rest of the world goes back at different times.

Your calender was printed before the new "law" for DST took effect. Starting this year, DST was changed. Before, it was from the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October (which would be tomorrow). Now it is in effect from the 2nd Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November. So DST ends this year on November 4th.

Nope ... Sorry but that advice is wrong. I just Googled your question. This year we don't set the clocks back until 2AM on the first Sunday in November. Glad I could help. ;)
