The Rockies are a good team but not on a level with the Red Sox. If they play their best and get some breaks, they'll win 1 or 2 games. The only way they'll win it all is a complete fold of the Sox. Not gonna happen. Not this team, not this year. If the Sox keep up the pressure, the Rockies will be crushed. It's not the same Red Sox as 2004. They are better. More speed, better hitting, deeper pitching. Tough team to beat in any kind of series. Ask an Indians or Yankees fan!

Of course they can come back. Think about 2004 when the Red Sox were down 3 games to 0 against the Yanks and won the series in 7. If the offense is sparked by returning home to Colorado, they have a great chance to win three games.

The Rockies will win 2 of 3 at home in Denver.
I think that Francona would be better off having Ortiz come of the bench to pinch hit and having Youkilis playing solid defense.
No matter what happens in games 3 and 4, Beckett will pitch game 5 and you have to give the Bosox the edge in that one.

I am hoping that the Rockies will win three straight in Denver and have a 3-2 advantage before returning to Boston.

nope it's so over for the rockies because they are just not good enough but it was fun while it lasted, i live in denver and never been or will be a rockies fan, they were juston a lucky streak and now they suck, all the rockies fan band wagoners are so disappointed and frusrated that they just don't have confidence in the rockies like they did when they were having that so-called winning streak, but its do or die for them now and i think they already died since the first game was a blow out in which was a major embarrassment for th whole ciity of denver.

well, in my opinion, it was really important for them to win game 2.
if the sox DON'T win the next two games, josh beckett WILL pitch and i think most of us can all agree with beckett pitching, the sox WILL win.
and they have already won 2 games, so the chances are slim for the rockies.
but if you're a rockies fan, don't lose faith. when we were down 0-3 games in '04 vs the yankees, we had so much faith and then went through the biggest comeback EVER. it was sweet.

My prediction is that if the Rockies do not win ALL three of their games at home that they will lose the series. Even if they win two they are going to have an extremly rough time winning at Fenway later
