Do you think that will work against Florida or will it just piss them off and make them run the score up on them in the 2nd half?

Hindsight will be 20/20. If the Dawgs win, it's a good move, and will be stored in Bulldog football lore. If they lose, it's a dumb move, and Richt gets villified. Personally, as of the moment, at halftime, I wish the celebration hadn't occured. There are other ways to show that you're fired up besides doing things to draw 15-yard penalties. But as a member of Bulldog Nation, I feel their passion. We want this one pretty badly.

It worked. Richt was trying to show Florida that Georgia wasn't intimidated.

And to the Auburn fan, he'd know alot about being classless. One year they turned firehoses on the UGA fans who ran out on the field when they lost, the alumni are now trying to run off Tuberville, like Bowden and Dye. You beat Florida and your kicker ran all over the field doing the chop, yeah, that's "class" Your team wore shirts - shirts - to the bowl game that said fear the thumb, that was SO "classy". Dude you are an idiot!

It is a fact that in the fall, rednecks turn Orange.

How bout them Dawgs!

I did think it was odd but this is also a very important game for both teams. Mark Richt is trying to fire up his team and he can sorta get away with it cuz their in a neutral site. He wouldn't dare do that in The Swamp but when half the stadium is wearing red, it's an odd but inspiring tactic. And right now, Florida looks a little frazzled, especially with Tebow being gimpy.

haha yes. mark richt loved it. he told his team before that if they didn't get a celebration penalty on their first touchdown, he' be dissappointed, so that's what they decided to do about it. helped up the momentum for his team, and it sure shocked the gators. only #77 decided to add a taunting penalty, and i don't think kicking off on the 7 1/2 was exactly what richt had exected. haha.

I didnt see it but hopefully they dont become full of themselves, it wont be an easy game for them, score right now is tied 14-14, I do hope Georgia wins though.

Yes and I thought it was pretty stupid considering they were still in the first half. The best time would be after they'd scored a WINNING TD or field goal.

It looks like it worked well. They are still winning late in the game.
