Why do you make fun of the Yankees when the Tigers haven't won since 1984? The Red Sox fans are still living in 2004, and the Tigers failed to win last year.

Because its all they have to remember now.
I love when they come on here and say that the Yankee's are the greatest team of all time. Because you can say as of October 27, 2007 the Rockies, Red Sox, and Indians are better than the Yankees.
They'd rather hold onto a past era than realize that they have long been dethroned. And the scary thing is the Yankees still have all the advantagous they used to have.
The Yankees are worse off next season then they were this year when they lost the first round of the playoffs

there's also alot of teams out there that don't know what a postseason feels like. i have been a yankee fan for 29yrs now and know what it's like to suck and to win it all. and by the way brainiac thirteen straight postseasons doesn't equal winless

Its not that we live in the Past i know they have not one a ws in the 21st century , don't remind me lol, but the future Looks bright for us we have great pitching for the future for example Hughes, Kennedy and chamberlain so at this moment I'm actually happy for the future

Because our past is the richest past in sports history. When the Red Sox narrow the gap from 26 to 6 to, I don't know 26 to 15, then maybe we can start talking about whose the greatest sports franchise ever.
The bottom line is baseball would not go on without the Yankees, they set the tone not matter what the outcome. Even when your team wins a championship, you STILL play 2nd fiddle to the Yanks. And even when NY doesn't win the big one, teams in our division and teams in the AL plan around us. Get over it.

Good question. I hate the Yankees. They can't afford to admit that that overhauled with $$ roster is winless. They just can't stop talking about the other WS wins. Sore losers... they should get a life
