I got in an accident so when my dad got it fixed the only parts available were green, so my car is maroon except for the fender and the hood. I want to paint it a dark blue but I'm not sure how much it will cost.

MAACO paint and body may be able to do the color change about as cheeply as anyone can. But expect it to cost at least $600.00. Or repaint the fender and hood for about 150 to 200 dollars

Done the right way it will cost well over $4000 to change the color of the car. The right way involves disassembly of the trim on the car and painting all of the jambs, engine bay areas, and undersides of the hood/trunk.

A cheap repaint can be as low as a few hundred dollars but they will just spray paint over the exterior of the car. When you open the doors, hood, or trunk you will see the old color. This looks really cheap and ugly.

The best way to go is to have the fender and hood painted to match the maroon on the rest of your car.

For a 97 Camry I wouldn't spend more than $500, the car just isn't worth spending much more than that.
