Your black moor will do extremely well in that 30 gallon tank as long as it shares that tank with no more than 1 other fancy goldfish. Your fish will grow to a body length of 5-8 inches EXcluding the tail with proper care. You can expect your fish to live 10-15 years if cared for properly.

To ensure the fish retains its color and does not turn bronze, ensure its water temperature stays gets no warmer than 72 degrees. 60 - 70 is optimal for this fish. Kept at or above 75 degrees for prolonged periods of time, a black moor will begin to turn orange. This will appear as bronze colored scales and is an undesirable condition for a black moor.

Be sure to perform partial water changes weekly; keep the filter media clean by rinsing in tank or distilled water. Keep a watchful eye of the ammonia and nitrite levels of your tank water through weekly testing. Ammonia and nitrites should be 0ppm.

Hope this helps & Good Luck

Given the space Moors can get to 12 inches, but in a 30 gallon, 6 to 7 inches is about the size they can get.

They can grow up to 10 inch of length
But keep in mind that you shouldn't keep more then 2 in a 30 gallon tank because of it's adult size

Hope that helps
Good luck
