No I wouldn't. Not if it's a Grizzley Bear. A baseball bat in the hands of any man is not likely to deter a Grizzley. Their skulls are thick enough to stop bullets in many cases, and they can get inside all kinds of containers, helmet included.

No Way!! Because even with the bat, the helmet and the shin guards the bear is much bigger than a human and is going to just get mad from the bat and kill you. Nope $800,000 is nothing for that!

Dan dearest, where will you find all this money - to start with.....
I would not fight a bear, not for a million dollars. I love bears especially teddy bears. Besides, if I wear football helmet, I would ruin my hairdo.
