He was a mathmatician who is cited as invinting game theory (a practice of going through a series of decisions and thinking what another party will do based on that decision and so on to reach the best posible decision).

He is also known as john Von Nueman. He was a child prodigy born into a Hungarian banking family in 1903. He was the inventor of the IAS machine if that helps - don't know what it is just looked it up!!!
Before he died he was investigating the structure of the brain.
