I need to know what type of pens will allow me to draw on fabric without smudging or fading if it gets wet. I would also need them to be colored as if I was making a t-shirt, except I need to draw on fabric that is a bit smaller than the size of an adult's palm.

Here's the link to a whole bunch of fabric pens, markers and crayons:

The SAKURA Pigma Micron's have very fine points. So do the MARVY Fabric Ball & Brush Markers. Then both come in several different colors. Some of the others may, also.

I have crayola crayons for fabric. Try those. Go to JoAnn Fabrics or a fabric store in your area and ask. They should be able to help you.

Clare is right - and your local craft store may also have a good selection of fabric pains and markers. I also use liquid dye, applied with a paintbrush.
