im looking for a new monitor to ask for, for christmas. i know LCD is very good quality but what type of graphics card is required to use one? also what is a top brand for monitors. im only looking for a flat screen that's 17"-19". advice is much appreciated

Radio shack has a nice 19 inch LED flat panel screen with the speakers built in for less than $200.00.My GranDaughter loves it

I personally like ViewSonic and LG monitors, I personally have ViewSonic 21" Widescreen LCD. And as for video cards, get the one with atleast 128MB.
