new horizons is our fastest ship, but it reaches its top speed with a gravity assist with Jupiter. 36,260 mph
its on its way to Pluto as we speak

approximately 37,760 years to travel 119,923,957,612,945 miles

oh and its Gliese 581 (i calculated the distance to the star, not the planet, but thats close enough)

"...want to know the speed of our fastest space craft..."

New Horizons probe to Pluto currently moving at 36,345.25 mph

"...how many earh years would it take to get to gelies 581c..."

Gliese 581c is some 20 light years from Earth.
20 ly = 1.1757^14 miles
1.1757^14 miles / 36,345.25 mph = 369,270.7192 years to reach Gliese 581c

Gliese, not "gelies"! It's 20 light-years away, so it will probably take about a century to develop the technology to send a bag of frozen human embryos there. Then it will take another millennium for the package to arrive, and another century for the automated baby factory and prerecorded education system to turn the embryos into a colony of humans.
