I'm almost 14, but don't want a slutty costume. but it seems like its hard when your a teen to find a halloween costume that's not slutty, not weird, and notj ust kinda stupid. I was thinking about being a witch, a pirate, a devil, or an angel, and was researching for costumes and all that came up was " sexy witch, sexy devil, sexy angel, and sexy pirate WTF? I wanna be cute and have fun without being slutty or dorky...
any tips either on what i should go as????

You can do this, but it takes more work than just going to the store and buying a premade costume.
Any of your four options can be done with "regular" clothes. Think about your first one, the witch. What if instead of a sexy witch in a tiny dress you did something like a Sabrina the Teenage Witch? Mostly dress normal but add a wand or some "magical-looking" jewelry -- think amulets and stones.
Angel or devil could be done the same way -- Angels could dress in all whites or pastels and just add the wings from the store. That's way cheaper and more original than buying everything premade. I wouldn't do anything more for the devil costume than adding the horns you can get from Spirit Halloween store, the kind you can stick on your forehead. No pitchfork, etc.
Pirate could be kinda hard, unless you have brothers who have the kind of clothes that would work for this -- brown pants, white shirt, knee-high boots, etc. Then you could add the hat and the eyepatch.

You can turn any of the "slutty" costumes into a tamer version by wearing a shirt with a neckline you're comfortable with either underneath or instead of the top suggested, and wearing a longer skirt or a pair of pants.
How about a rockstar? You can spray your hair with color hairspray, spike it up or funk-ify it, and then wear jeans with some tears and a old band t-shirt. Top it off with some boots and funky jewelry, maybe even a blow-up guitar or some drumsticks in your back pocket (oh! or use the drumsticks in your hair to hold up a funky bun!).
Have fun with whatever you choose. I like to look around and try to find something that is in the normal day-to-day world, and put a spin on it. Last year for a costume party, I painted my face in blue like Gene Simmons from KISS, and I wore a blue wig (you could wear an outfit that is all blue) - I was "blue 'jeans'". :) So, have fun with your costume!

How about a "Juko Girl", or a geish. I'm not quite sure what that is but my sister is dressing up as one (not the geisha) anyways I know it's decent, modest, and really cool. (Lots of bright colors and stripes) If your still want to be one of the costum's you mentioned, try making it or getting it made a certain way. This way it still looks cool, without being slutty.

Sorry to tell the first person but YES they do have slutty nun costumes!! LOL anyway im gonna be tonks from HP and Im 15 (1 week till 16) YAH, anyway i Adore harry potter but my parents think it is DEVIL WORSHIP so i just tell them im going as a punk rocker! It isnt slutty at all just skinny jeans with a punkish skirt and converses with a black shirt! Im also gonna put my hair in low ponytails!! If you dont like harry potter you can just dress up as a punk rocker like me LOL

I had the same problem!!!!! But I am being a 50s diner girl and my friend is being a poodleskirt girl!!!! We both look really cute in them 2!!! Oh and by the way we both are 13!!!! I would recomend being an angel was going to be that!!!!! Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be a cat. Wear a black shirt and a black pair of pants. Also put on a headband with ears and a tail. Draw whiskers on your cheeks with black eyeliner. You'll be cute and not slutty or dorky.
